Hello Barb,
To whisper label you breathe into the emotional target. Pointing your breath toward the emotion is good enough. Label your emotional target with a whisper. Whisper: "Those sensations". Do this labeling only once. You will get a sense of being outside of the emotional target instead of in it. You are observing it as separate from you. In your awareness will be "those sensations" along with your sense of the heartbeat area. Julian Kammerz |

Hi,
Whisper label's effectiveness is increased when you notice not only "Those sensations" (Those implies separateness) but the heartbeart area. This spreads your attention out which leads to a good felt sense and a wider view. This is can't miss dis-identification. Gary Holtzman |
